Lauren Crosen

Lauren Crosen is NASM Certified Personal trainer, RYT200 Yoga Instructor,  and an AFPA Certfied Holistic Nutritionist. She has expanded her education by earning many different continuing ed. credits in her field, concentrating on women’s health.  She earned her Bachelors of Science from the University of Connecticut. She believes in a Holistic approach to health and wellness, blending her education in both Eastern and Western science and philosophy to create an all-inclusive exercise program for clients.

As an overweight kid, her journey towards health and fitness begin at the young age of 15 (when she lost 50lbs) and has evolved and grown in time and with experience. She is grateful for that experience, as it led her to the field of Health and Wellness. Furthermore, it has allowed her to relate and connect with others who are facing similar challenges without judgement. As someone who struggled with being overweight, she strives to empower others to meet their own goals by celebrating and nourishing their bodies through healthy diet and exercise.

Lauren is passionate about creating classes that are fun and accessible to all that also produce results. You can expect a full body workout that is safe, challenging, effective, and always different. She believes that health and wellness should be a welcoming and enjoyable environment and aims to create that in all of her classes. In her spare time, she enjoys plant-based baking, spending time at the beach, and playing with her golden retriever Annabelle.

Liz Markle

Liz is a Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition & Weight Management Specialist through the American Council on Exercise. She received her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Liz has experience working with a wide variety of populations through many different fitness domains including, weight loss, strength & conditioning, injury prevention and wellness coaching. She’s been a member of the GISFW team since 2011 and continues to be passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals. She currently enjoys hiking, cooking and spending time with her newborn son. After a workout, she likes to refuel with anything she can put peanut butter on!
