Christine Rooney

Christine Rooney is the owner of the Danvers Get in Shape for Women since 2018. Christine has always had a passion for health and wellness and owning her own studio was a dream for her.
She enjoys helping women of all ages reach their fitness goals while making lasting lifestyle changes, learning proper nutrition, and the importance of exercise. Christine gets so much satisfaction when her clients reach their personal goals and sees them feeling their best.
In her spare time, Christine loves spending time camping on the weekends in Maine with her husband Jamie and daughter Olivia and her 2 dogs.
She loves to read and is often found reading 3 different books at a time.

Liz Markle

Liz is a Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition & Weight Management Specialist through the American Council on Exercise. She received her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Liz has experience working with a wide variety of populations through many different fitness domains including, weight loss, strength & conditioning, injury prevention and wellness coaching. She’s been a member of the GISFW team since 2011 and continues to be passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals. She currently enjoys hiking, cooking and spending time with her newborn son. After a workout, she likes to refuel with anything she can put peanut butter on!

John Licciardi

Johns’ passion for fitness has been a life-long journey, which started as a kid, playing baseball and football through high school and college. As he got older, he continued his love for sports and staying active over the years by competing in several triathlons and Spartan road races.
John started his career in the non-profit environment but his passion for fitness and living a healthy and active lifestyle inspired him to become a certified master personal trainer and group fitness instructor. John’s circuit style class is sure to get you up and moving with a variety of different exercises that help to improve both muscular strength and cardiovascular fitness.
When John isn’t working out you can find him chasing around and playing with his two-year-old grandson, Grayson. Anyone who takes any of John’s classes knows his motto is “If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you”. Which is what he, himself, likes to live by and how he teaches every one of his classes! He is excited to help you on your fitness journey, so you can live a strong, capable, and successful lifestyle.
