SuperCuts H.R. Director to open multiple GISFW's

Liz McGill, a Massachusetts resident entered into a multi-unit franchise agreement today to develop 10 locations through out Massachusetts and Rhode Island over the next 5 years. Liz is a Human Resource director for a 70 store SuperCuts multi-unit franchise owner. Liz is also a customer of GISFW, after falling in love with the model, and the idea of transforming women as a full time career, she decided it was time to move forward.

Marblehead, MA Franchise Of The Month!

Get In Shape For Women To Open In Wisconsin!

Ann Devillers, a Green Bay, WI resident entered into an agreement with husband Scott to open a new Get In Shape For Women location in Howard, Wisconsin. Ann & Scott plan to open at least 3 more locations around the Green Bay area over the next couple of years.

Get In Shape For Women to open in New Jersey!

“Michael O'Koomian & Virginia Galente-O'Koomian entered into an agreement to open the first GISFW in New Jersey and it will be located in Ridgewood, NJ.

The Ridgewood location tentatively plans to open in April 2010. Michael & Virginia plan to develop multi-units throughout the state of New Jersey over the coming years."

Get In Shape For Women To Open in Florida!

Brian Cook, our Founder and President, announced today that they will be opening a Corporate studio in West Palm Beach, Florida. Cook said he will be opening approximately 10 Corporate owned studios around the Country so he can better support the local franchise owners.

Dave Waluk, a Mill Valley, CA resident entered into an agreement to open a new Get In Shape For Women location in Mill Valley, California. Dave plans to open 5 locations in the Marin County area over the next 2 years.

Get In Shape For Women named “Top 10 Trends For 2010” by Entrepreneur Magazine!

In the December 2010 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine, Get In Shape For Women was named as one of the “Top 10 Trends for 2010”, and “worth keeping an eye on in the coming year” says Tracy Stapp the editor for the magazine.

Founder and President announces national expansion!

Today Brian Cook our Founder and President announced that Get In Shape For Women will now expand nationwide. Cook said he first wanted to develop a strong core of Get In Shape For Women studios in MA, a solid franchise school and support system for franchisees before the Nationwide launch. Cook said we have 30 studios open, another 20 in development, all systems are in place “We Are Ready To Grow”!

First Franchisee Opens his 5th studio!

Today Glenn Nazarian, Get In Shape For Women’s first franchisee opened his 5th studio in Framingham, Massachusetts. Nazarian bought his first studio in Winchester, MA from the franchise corporation in 2007, making him the 1st franchisee. Nazarian has secured the rights to 7 locations in MA, and plans to open 5 locations in New Hampshire over the next 5 years.

Kim Prough, a Lexington resident and member of Get In Shape For Women recently purchased the Lexington, MA studio from the franchise corporation. Brian Cook, Get In Shape For Women’s Founder and President, said he is very fortunate to have Kim Prough as an owner, she knows first hand what the women of Lexington want out of a fitness model. Being a client turned owner gives her a unique perspective.
